I'm standing in front of the wall to give it some scale. Noticte where the the paint has been eaten away from the wall in the image to the right. This happened from flammable substances that were thrown back and forth at people on the other side.

Sadly northern Ireland is known for a period of civil strife where Protestants and Catholics where at war with one another-

Walls were constructed that were used to control the the opposing groups. I took video and pictures along the wall along with John Craig Freeman who is creating a virtual peace wall in Second Life. This will be somewhat similar to his Virtual Florida

COA AI may be complete ^^ !!

[some fireworks to celebrate this momentous day]
After many hard years of work it looks as though we are on the brink
of completing the AI for Children of Arcadia. Joseph Hocking worked long
And hard to produce this new version of the AI for our COA ISEA show. This is truly
a monumental day.

[Image from Joe's testbed -- still working out a few bugs but it's almost art
by itself]
The actions of the computer generated characters [AI]
makes up half of COA on a conceptual basis. The AI system that we hope to
implement for ISEA is quite complex.

Here are some images from Cyberarts 2009. I can't say what an honor it was for the
COA team to be included in the show. We are extremely grateful to the Cambridge Arts Council for giving us the opportunity to show COA during Cyberarts. A special thanks goes to Jeremy Gaucher who organized the show, helped install the work, and kept it running. Also to Lillian Hsu who helped with all of my gallery access requests. Also thanks to everyone else at the Arts Council who helped keep the piece up and running throughout the show.
