Wall BuildAR comes to CA and LA Replay
Wall BuildAR comes to CA! Wall BuildAR has begun work on the “Sea Wall” that will line the U.S. West Coast. The Sea Wall starts where the U.S. / Mexico barrier meets the Pacific Ocean. This public works project is part of the larger “Freedom Wall Project” which is creating a safety wall around the entire United States. For LA RePlay Wall BuildAR will begin constructing a smaller “Safety Wall” around downtown LA’s financial center. Apple BREAKS under pressure from Augmented Reality Activist AR Protest!!!?!!
Less than 2 weeks after the launch of the AR Apple Store Intervention and the infamous "Apple-Hopppala Crash" of 2012 Apple finally backed down!The Augmented Reality Activists have declared a tiny victory in the fight against evil. Apple's token will not stop the AR protest! The Apple Store AR nets stay up until the Foxconn nets come down!! [seen on AR Intervention Layar]

Meet the makAR puts you face to face with a person who could have made your device. Future versions will tell have the workers telling their stories. I plan to do a wide range of consumer products out side of apple.

After being online for 8 hours the Apple protest and all of Hoppala were shut down by outside pressure form Apple?????!!!!!
It looks like this was to stop Mark Skwarek from Augmented Reality Activist's Apple protest started at Eyebeam's Activist Tech Demo Day. The protest targeted the Apple Store on 8th Ave in NYC by placing the Foxconn suicide jumper in Apple's glass atrium.
Hoppala the augmented reality server was operational at 11:00 p.m. last night, around the time when the "Foxconn worker in the Apple Store" first launched. At 7:03a.m. Hoppala was off line.

I'm presenting at Activist Tech Demo Day hosted by EYEBEAM this upcoming SATURDAY!!! Technology for Activists > 3- 6 > I will be showing AR Activism. There will be a number of other presenters defiantly worth seeing so please come out- I don't think it's on line yet- soon....
At Activist Tech Demo Day I will launch a new collaboration with John Craig Freeman and Tamiko Thiel called "Augmented Reality Activists". The website will serve as a knowledge base for the community of activists interested in augmented reality. The site will also archive the past and ongoing efforts of activists working in augmented reality.
