I participated in the global game jam that took place at NYU's ITP Department. It was truly a great experience. I was lucky enough to work with some super talented people. You can download the games we made and hundreds of others from across the world here.

I made 3-D assets as well as story images for MatErialism @ 9.8m/s2

I am excited that I will be a BXMC [Brooklyn Experimental Media Center] Researcher in Residence @ NYU Polytech. I am very lucky to be able to work with such a talented group of people! I also teach 3-D graphics for real-time applications at the Integrated Digital Media Institute at Polytechnic Institute of NYU. More info soon... .

Joseph Hocking will present at Technarte 2009 in Bilbao Spain --

Joe [my partner in crime] will be lecturing at Technarte 2009 April 23rd & 24th of 2009 in Bilbao (Spain). At the lecture he will present on our project Children of Arcadia along with some of his other projects. Great work Joe!

TECHNARTE is an international conference on art and technology that seeks to become the most important event of its kind. The aims are to present technological developments that enhance a broader expression of modern art, and to provide a forum for debate and reflection on the convergence between technology and art.

Here's an image of The Children of Arcadia's installation at the Sunshine Art Museum in Beijing. Unfortunately we were unable to project the work because of skylights in the museum. We were quite pleased with the final installation. The show runs until November 30, there's still time.......

I'm excited to say Baghdad Skyline was mentioned on Rhizome.org in an artical by Ceci Moss "Goodbye Bush!". This really means alot to myself and the rest of the team because we felt so strongly about the piece. The project team was made up of myself - Mark Skwarek project, Joseph Hocking code, Felix Lu assistant, and Damon Baker as advisor.

Baghdad Skyline was originally shown at Soundscape2007 which was produced by Savvas Spyridopoulos [much thx!]
