"the leak in your home town" showing at {S0NiK} Fest and Synthetic Zero Event at BronxArtSpace

{S0NiK} Fest and Synthetic Zero are putting on a joint event on Sat July 3, 7pm-10pm and Wed Jul 7 6pm-9pm at BronxArtSpace. The event will be free (donations accepted). The events will be part of the Bronx Culture Trolley. Note: the art exhibit will also be open Fridays and Saturdays 2-7pm from July 3rd to July 17th.

"the leak in your home town" documentation of BP oil spill augmented reality app


The "leak in your home town" is a iPhone app that let's users see the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill when ever they see a BP logo. User simply launches the app and aims their iPhone's camera at the nearest BP logo. What the user sees is the broken pipe which coming out of the BP logo, and out of the pipe comes the oil, pluming upward.
This project was created by Mark Skwarek and Joseph Hocking and is a work in progress.

"the leak in your home town" project will be showing at BOS Cabaret 2010 June 5th and out door installation thru the 6th-
The main event will be Saturday, June 5th at
319 Scholes Street -- BUSHWICK!!!! [this is actually next door to the first building I lived in Brooklyn ^^]
7-11pm
